Description
A simple, adjustable tether that loops around your car's rear headrest and clips to your dog's harness, so your dog stays settled on the back seat instead of roaming the car. It helps you keep your dog suitably restrained while you drive, as Rule 57 of the Highway Code asks.

Will it fit my car?
It fits any seat with a removable or post-mounted headrest, which covers most UK cars. It does not plug into the seat-belt buckle and does not use ISOFIX.
Is there a shock-absorbing bungee?
No. It's a fixed nylon strap you adjust to length. Keep it short enough that your dog can sit and lie down but can't reach the front seats or the footwell.
Should I clip it to a collar or a harness?
Always a harness. Clipping a car tether to a collar can put pressure on your dog's neck if you brake suddenly.
What size of dog is it for?
The adjustable length suits small, medium and large dogs. The supplier doesn't give a weight rating, so for very large or strong dogs we'd suggest a crate or a crash-tested car harness.
Has it been crash-tested?
No. It's a restraint that stops your dog moving around the car. It is not a crash-tested safety device.

How to Use
- Lift or reach behind the rear headrest and pass the loop around both headrest posts.
- Close the side buckle and pull the strap snug.
- Put a well-fitted harness on your dog.
- Clip the snap hook to the back ring of the harness.
- Adjust the tether so your dog can sit and lie down but can't reach the front seats.
Never leave your dog alone in the car, and never attach the tether to a collar.

How to use this item
It's a very good product because it's sturdy, easy to use, and also cheap.
However, the fact that the adjustment part was made of plastic, contrary to the description, makes me a bit worried about its durability.
Good quality and sturdy attachments. An added bonus to have the double attachment.
